It may often seem as though there is less pressure when choosing wedding rings. After all, when the person who did the proposing chose the engagement ring, they were not only shopping alone whilst hoping for a positive response but also hoping that their chosen ring would be one which their beloved could and would wear for the rest of their lives.
With wedding rings, the pressure is somewhat diminished as the couple will often choose their wedding bands together, seeking out two which will complement each other, both in boxes clutched nervously by Best Men terrified of losing them and then on two joined hands, forever immortalised by the photographs of the big day and then by the couple themselves as they build a life together.
However, simply because there is a lack of pressure doesn’t mean that the rings shouldn’t be chosen with care.
Traditionally placed upon the third finger of the left hand because of a legendary vein travelling from that finger to the heart, and shaped in a single ring because of the unending state of marriage, the wedding ring will be seen, worn and adored for the rest of the wearer’s life.
With that in mind, it – along with any partner it may have – should be chosen with the upmost of care, taking time to ensure quality, a stunning appearance and of course a look which complements and shows the engagement ring off to its’ full potential.
Design My Diamond are delighted to present our stunning collection of wedding rings for ladies and gentlemen. Featuring traditional D Shapes and more contemporary flat bands, these elegant and timeless designs will ensure that from the day the ring is placed gently upon the finger and for the rest of the wearers’ life, it will obtain just as many wow’s and admiring glances, as well as being a permanent symbol of what was promised.
